Bordeaux striker Fernando Cavenaghi is in demand

Prolific Bordeaux striker Fernando Cavenaghi is targeting a January move to Tottenham.In recent weeks, Spurs have monitored the Argentina international, who played for Bordeaux in the 1-1 Champions League draw against Chelsea.And 25-year-old Cavenaghi admits he is excited by the prospect of playing for the north London club. Bordeaux signed him for £5.5m 20 months ago, rescuing him from two difficult years adjusting to Russian football and culture, and he is now said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
