Honda Jazz
Honda's Jazz/ Fit has been a great success for the company. The car known as the Fit in the U.S. had been on the market in the rest of the world before it made it here in spring 2006. Currently the car is one of the fastest selling cars in the Honda lineup and is hampered by the fact that Honda can not build enough of them. How often do you see a Fit at a Honda dealership. The new Jazz/Fit is already taking shape. Spy photographers have caught a few mules testing in Europe. Now Auto Express has two artist renderings of what they believe the new car will look like when it is revealed this fall at the Tokyo Auto Show. The car in these pictures does not stray far from the current design. The front end has a lower grille and the headlights maintain the similar shape of the current model. The width of the car has increased by 20mm and the length has increased by 50mm. The current model has been successful because of its class leading interior room and its ingenious seat configurations. The new larger dimensions should make the interior even more spacious. An upgraded interior trim and restyled dashboard should also refresh the car. There is no word on the exact engine lineup. A diesel engine is rumored, although the U.S. will probably not get it.
