Gold surges on firm global cues
Snapping a three-day falling streak, gold prices on Saturday surged by Rs 175 to close at Rs 15,475 per ten gram in the bullion market in the Capital on aggressive buying by stockists and jewellers influenced by a firming global trend. Buying activity in the precious metal gathered momentum after reports the metal rebounded in international markets.
